Pantone Color of the Year 2017

Word is out. The Pantone Color Institute released the Color of the Year for 2017 and it's quite the eye-pleaser, and intentionally. Read our previous excerpt below about how COTY works.

The Institute specializes in color trend forecasting, brand color development, and product palette development, which really makes you think about how serious color really is. To quote Pantone for their reasoning, “When 80% of human experience is filtered through the eyes, we understand that the choice of color is critical.” A color on its own, in a family, or in an assorted palette can suggest per individual emotions of every kind. Pantone just so happens to search the globe, far and wide, to study color specific to the expression of consumer emotion.

The intention here is to inspire. You can use it in your color palette for home furnishing, as an accent color in your wedding decor, or as part of an #ootd. The options are pretty limitless, but it'll be even easier this time around. Why? Greenery is a shade from such a natural color; it's literally all encompassing.

For reference, Pantone has dubbed Greenery as "symbolic of new beginnings." What a great way to start the new year! On the same note, it connotes for us feelings of serenity, like that of taking in a breath of fresh air. And within the millennial mind, "going green" is not only trending as a choice to use more of the color, but as a way of life. More than ever globally, people have become health aware and are in constant search of finding out how to conserve and preserve what's left of earth that is green.

This coincides with what comes as standard to Fire & Brilliance perfectly. With our selections of conflict-free and/or free-trade gems (such as Moissanite, Amora Gem, and Diamond), we provide a fresh way of thinking by creating with your needs in mind by cutting cost and maximizing quality. Customizing your own creation knows almost no bounds with our top of the line 3D CAD Design technology, so you can relax. And for all the kermits out there, when you're a FAB Fan, it is actually pretty easy to be green. ;)

Tell us what you think of the COTY and how you plan on using it to its potential, whether as a lifestyle or aesthetic choice!
