February 2016: The Recap

F&B is back again with another recap! Every last week of the month, we revisit some of the biggest news in pop culture to celebrate all things jewelry, wedding, and love! For Bachelor news, check out our next post! We also update you on these events when they are first reported on a few of our social media platforms, so make sure you give us a follow! It is here that we have confined some of what we have found to be worthy of note for your convenience. In our own words, we give you the rundown the F&B way. 

We were reading up a storm about breaking news in everything celeb, of course, to give you the exciting scoop by our means, and we discovered... former Glee star Dianna Agron has gone public with her engagement! (Photo Courtesy Darren Garrish/Getty)

Spotted this past Monday during London Fashion Week, Agron flashed this darling, drop dead gorgeous rose-cut diamond ring set on handsome yellow gold in nonchalance as she steps in for a photograph. It was rumored that she got engaged to Mumford & Sons' Winston Marshall over the holidays a while back, but Agron made sure we knew it was true. (Photo Courtesy Darren Garrish/Getty)

The musician and actress played it incognito with their relationship for an impressively long amount of time leading up to this point. I mean, we can't imagine how stressful it is to be in the public eye at all times of the day, especially when we can literally "read up a storm about you" in just minutes after you've reacted to something... Either way, she decided it best to share with the world and we're thankful for it! Congrats! We are so excited for all of their, or should we really say her, wedding planning to come! 

In other news, Olivia Wilde is in no rush to wed baby daddy and beau Jason Sudeikis. There's nothing wrong with that either! Having been engaged for three years, the couple currently has hands full with 22-month-old son, Otis. Here's a throwback picture of the trio in 2014 from Wilde's IG: 

Adorable! And the situation here is that there is none. Wilde is wild about Sudeikis, it's clear. In fact, she told Net-A-Porter magazine that they have a bond now even thicker than marriage alone: “We are seriously connected. Before you have a child, marriage is the ultimate commitment and promise to one another, and then once you have a child, it’s like, ‘Oh, we’re committed and promised already.'" While we can't help but hope for a fully decked out wedding from them soon, we think it's awesome that they're just taking the time to enjoy each other! 

Meanwhile in the fast lane, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got married in a secret ceremony! We know, we were also surprised too, but most likely not as surprised as the "Wrecking Ball" singer! She flew to Australia to visit with him in December and Liam, wanting to avoid another long engagement, bit the bullet and proposed!

It was all very last minute and so her side of the family couldn't make it, but the ceremony was as intimate and romantic as it could get, with Liam asking everyone to hold a candle... lighting each one as a representation of the eternal flame of their love. I mean, is it getting hot in here? Whew! It was just last month that we blogged about them reportedly rekindling something, and then all of a sudden she was moving all of her things into his house. Oh, did we not mention that? This love is real, folks. And life is what you make it, right Miles? We had to. 

In short, this bit in celeb news hit all stages from parent-proud and engagement, to marriage! And to know we get the privilege of writing about things like these every month means there is right in the world. Let us know if there are any other stories you'd like us to cover! Thanks for reading.
