Q: When did you first meet and how?

A: Actually, we knew each other from high school as he was 2 grades behind me, but we were not interested in one another back then. After high school, we went our separate ways and reconnected at a restaurant/bar hangout about 4 years ago as we met up with mutual friends we had in common.

Q: What about the design made you choose this ring to be the one?

A: I wanted something classic and timeless so 30 years from now I would not be saying, "What was I thinking?" when I chose the design.

Q: In each your own words, can you describe what the days leading up to the proposal were like? Can you tell us about the proposal?

A: Well, I know he was going to ask, just did not know when...so I felt a little anxious because I wanted to know when. We went out to dinner on a Friday evening as we normally do and when we got to the restaurant, he asked me to get his wallet in the glove compartment and when I opened it I saw the box with the ring. He said, "I want to spend the rest of my life with you." I immediately said, "yes" and the rest is, like we say, history.

Q: How was your overall experience with Fire & Brilliance?

A: It was superb. Michael was extremely helpful as I had a ton of questions and I am really happy with my rings.

Q: What does your partner do to make you smile?

A: He is such a funny guy, he is always making me laugh with a joke or a story, but mostly it is because he can do impressions of people really well. Like without any practice, impromptu if you will and that always makes me laugh. Even if I am having a bad day it always puts a smile on my face.
