Kayloni Murray
Q: When did you first meet and how?
A: It was in early October on a Sunday evening and I just came to visit my friend at her boyfriend's house. Kyle was already there fixing a computer and when I came in, Britnee, our mutual friend, introduced me to everyone there. To make a long story short, she thought we would make a good pair and managed to get everyone out of the room so that Kyle and I could talk alone. Which we did, about anything and everything from the latest tech to the popular KPOP song, "Gangnam Style."
Q: What about the design made you choose this ring to be the one?
A: I was very grateful that Kyle included me in the process for choosing the ring. I think it actually made the process more intimate and trusting. Plus, in the end we found the best product together. With the ring that we chose, it was the one that I connected with the most. It is simple, yet very elegant and classy. And even though it has a subtle beauty, it just seems magical. I'm not sure if there is any other way to describe it but magical. The design and stone is very well put together. It was the one.
Q: Was there a special occasion to inspire this purchase?
A: YES!!! He proposed with the ring, well kind of... He actually proposed with the receipt of the ring because he was too excited to wait for the actual thing to come. Needless to say there were lots of happy tears even with just an email saying that the ring was coming.
Q: How was your overall experience with Fire & Brilliance?
A: Overall, it was awesome. Customer service was polite, prompt, and, most importantly, the product is WOW! Even with all of the anxiousness of waiting a few weeks for the ring to be delivered, it was well worth the wait. We had to wait some because I am a size 9 so F&B had to custom make my ring. Apart from that, the ring fit perfectly and pictures don't do the ring any justice. There is a certain sparkle that cannot be captured on camera. You would have to see it in person.
Kyle: I thought she was cute and seemed like a girl who has a good head on her shoulders. I had nothing to lose at that point, so I was just myself and I thought it was cool that she got me.
Kayloni: I thought Kyle was rough around the edges and a little homely looking. He had on a ratty over-sized black tee, some awkward-fitting red basketball shorts (btw he has those on right now) and an interesting pair of red and white sneakers. But once I got past the aesthetics, I noticed that he was very kind, generous, laid back, kind of funny, and a cool geek. Remember, the scope of our first conversation went from everything technology to KPOP!
