Jordan & Markus

Q: When did you first meet and how?

A: Markus and I met while doing a Christian Missions trip in Kona, Hawaii when we were 18.

I saw Markus with his cool hair and clothes and couldn't resist making myself known to him. I walked up to him and dropped a casual compliment. Five years later and here we are, engaged!

Q: What about the design made you choose this ring to be the one?

A: We picked this ring because I wanted an elongated rectangle and they were pretty difficult to come by unless they were an emerald cut. I wanted mine to sparkle and the FAB First Crush was the perfect fit of what I wanted. When it came to the setting and prongs, I couldn't resist the claws! They're so sharp and I love the elegance of the little diamonds surrounding the rest of the band and up onto the claw-shaped prongs. It's so me!

Q: In each your own words, can you describe what the days leading up to the proposal were like? Can you tell us about the proposal?

A: I had just flown across the world from Chicago to Melbourne, Australia. All I wanted was to be in his arms. We love planning our lives together, imagining what it would be like to live together. We went on a run in the morning and then he set up a picnic for us. It couldn't be more us, romantic and intimate.

Q: How was your overall experience with Fire & Brilliance? How did you first hear about us?

A: I looked up "rectangle engagement ring" and Fire & Brilliance came up. Since Markus and I do long distance it seemed like the most trust worthy and legit site we could come across and agreed on to look at rings.

Lastly, we wanted to ask something of each our clients to be featured a question that is unique to their story.

Q: What is your favorite type of cuisine to eat together?

A: We like going and getting spicy tuna on crispy rice!
