Jasmine & David

Q: When did you first meet and how?
A: I met my now husband on February 21, 2009 at the Fremont experience in downtown Las Vegas, NV. I would have to say it was fate because it's almost like we were meant to be. I was born and raised in Las Vegas and my mother and father were born in Oklahoma. He and his family are from Oklahoma. But that's not the super crazy thing.
The super crazy thing is he grew up around my family and actually introduced me to family members I never knew later in our dating years. We were both teenagers then. He was sixteen and I had just turned 18. I was downtown with my dad, 4 other siblings, and my friend Morgan supporting my mother and her friend's band. She was performing on one of the stages there and his family was just hanging out and having a good time. My little brother who was 5 at the time had to go to the restroom.
He was standing outside of the casino when my brother, Morgan and I walked by. That was when we saw each other. At that time my friend Morgan and I kept making excuses to leave our families to go walk past him again. After about the third time he had the courage to approach me and said "so where we going" and that's all it took.
Q: What about it made you choose this ring design to be the one?
A: I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was very unique and different than what my friends and family have. I was clothes shopping one day and saw a jewelry rack in the middle of the store. That was when I saw her. I've always been a sucker for square shapes lol. My heart just sang at how beautiful it was. So I bought the fake ring and my husband saw my reaction lol. So he secretly designed my upgrade using that ring as the inspiration and used a radiant cut moissanite instead of a princess cut. He made an awesome choice because I get so many compliments daily of how beautiful the stone is.
Q: What was the proposal/wedding like?
A: The proposal was simply beautiful. Even though it sounds very old timey it's the god's honest truth. To purchase my first engagement ring he saved all of his lunch money until the end of the school year.
A few weeks later he proposed at a family bbq on the 4th of July 2009. After everyone got their food his dad played "Straight From The Heart" by Con Funk Shun. I thought it was strange that he started to play slow music but I didn't really pay it any attention. David took my hand and pulled me into the middle of the room. I assumed he wanted to dance until he started talking about how I was his everything. That's when I knew something was up lol.
I was completely surprised and of course overwhelmed with so many emotions. I lost my father to a heart attack the month prior and fell into a deep depression at the time. David's proposal was everything I needed to keep going in life. The wedding was was to years later on September 14, 2011 and that was just as beautiful. My grandfather was the pastor who officiated our marriage which made things even more special.
Q: How did you first hear about us? How was your overall experience with Fire & Brilliance?
A: I first heard about Fire and Brilliance from weddingbee.com. I stumbled upon that website when I was looking for a replacement engagement ring because David had misplaced my diamond engagement ring. I learned everything about moissanite from your site and the bees at weddingbee.com. When I learned about how much fire moissanite had I was sooooo excited that I rushed to your website and never looked back lol. The customer service was absolutely amazing. All of my questions were answered -- even the ones I thought were stupid were handled with care. My moissanite stone came quickly and carefully packaged. We had no complaints whatsoever. I knew that this wasn't a company that just wanted my money but a company that treats their customers like they are supposed to be treated. I knew my money was safe here and I will be a forever customer just because of the way they treated me. The quality of my precious stone was more that I expected lol I actually cried!
Q: Where would you live if you could rest your roots anywhere else in the world?
A: We would live in the Bahamas because of the overall beautiful peaceful atmosphere of the place.
