Carly & Devin
Q: When did you first meet and how?
A: My husband, Devin, and I met almost 8 years ago right before I left for college in Chicago. My best friend that I grew up next door to introduced us, and she was dating my husband's brother. They are now married as well, so I'm sisters with my childhood BFF!
Q: What about the design made you choose this matching band to be the one?
A: My husband and I wanted something that was simple but noticeably sparkly and that matched my engagement/wedding rings perfectly. This is a band I'll wear when I don't wear my whole set. My center stone is a sapphire and I don't wear it in certain situations to avoid banging it up (working out, cleaning, traveling, etc), and I would end up not wearing anything on my ring finger. We wanted all three rings to look like they came from the same family...and they do!
Q: How did you first hear about us?A: I first saw F&B tagged in a velvet ring box photo on Instagram - so happy my late night browsing led me to something amazing!
Q: How was your overall experience with Fire & Brilliance?
A: Our experience was fantastic. My husband wanted to give this band to me on Christmas, and the F&B team assured us that it would be delivered by Christmas, even with the nature of it being 100% made to order. The team was very responsive when we had questions, so we got that personal attention you would normally find in a mom & pop jewelry store. Our final product was pure perfection, and we will definitely purchase from F&B again!
Lastly, we wanted to ask something of each our clients to be featured a question that is unique to their story.
Q: What would you say is key to a loving relationship?
A: For us, it's spontaneity. I'm a Type-A control freak and Devin is much more relaxed and goes with the flow. Our most cherished moments are when he convinced me to be spontaneous (which is hard for me, because I like everything to be planned in advance). Whether it's something big like taking a last-minute road trip to Nashville, or something small like a long stroll down Chicago's lakefront. Those spontaneous moments of adventure are what keep things exciting!
