7mm Natural Cushion Cut Morganite Center 14k Yellow Gold Diamond Split Shank with Diamond Halo 1.5 Carat Total Weight
Morganite Fun Facts:
Morganite was initially discovered in the early 20th century in the state of California. The gem’s name “morganite” came from the suggestion of the New York gemologist G. F. Kunz in honor of the banker and mineral collector John Pierpont Morgan in 1911. Morganite's pretty colors are due to the presence of manganese or cesium. It is a peachy-pink beryl which is the cousin to more familiar beryls like emerald and aquamarine.
