September 2015: The Recap

We celebrate love here at F&B! Some of our favorite celebrity couples tied the knot this month and we’d like to remember some of these cherished moments in September together with you.

According to E! News, 23-year-old Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Courtney Love and the late Kurt Cobain, married longtime fiancé Isaiah Silva in a wedding ceremony kept super hush-hush earlier in the month. Silva reminds us a lot of her late father in style (with the familiar long tousled hair, sporting grunge) and love for music as he presently plays guitar and does lead vocals in American punk rock band The Eeries. As a child of two amazing music artists, Hole frontwoman Courtney Love and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, Frances rocks to the tunes of her own beat in visual artistry. The two newlyweds seem like well-suited pair and we wish them the best!

There seems to a pattern happening this September because that wasn’t the only secret wedding we’re covering! Over Labor Day weekend, Usher reportedly eloped with longtime girlfriend Grace Miguel right before jetting off to Cuba for their honeymoon. The infamous American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor gushed to Billboard a year prior about now wife Grace Miguel, who is also his manager, thankful for her unwavering support and how much it has meant to him in his career. Usher’s new gold wedding band is hard to miss in Grace’s Instagram post of the two mid-trip! We look forward to sharing in their happiness for the years to come.

We wanted to remember September with a little bit of a throwback, too. Sarah Michelle Gellar recently professed her love for Freddie Prinze Jr., her husband of 13 years, on Instagram, quoting romantic poetic lines from Roy Croft: "I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me.” The 90s “it” couple met on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer, a 1997 American slasher film, and have been inseparable since they began dating in 2000. It’s so awesome to know of success stories such as this one, which is why we love being a part of yours or having the chance to be. :)
