The CAD Deposit of $350.00 USD gives you access to “see and approve” without needing to commit full payment right away. You are given a total of 4 rounds of computer-generated renders by GIA Graduate designer(s). After your first custom jewelry design render, you may choose to make an additional 3 minor changes to the design. The CAD deposit is fully applicable as a credit towards your order total price should you approve your unique design for production.

What is a CAD?
CAD stands for “computer aided design” and is the first step in creating your custom jewelry. This process generates graphical renders of your unique design for approval before production. This way, you know it will be beautiful and to your liking!
What do I get with the deposit?
WHAT IS A MINOR CHANGE v. A MAJOR CHANGE?
A minor change does not require our designer to start from scratch. Major changes require the designer to restart due to drastic differences from the original concept versus the newly changed design. A new deposit is required for major changes. Rest assured all deposits are applicable as a credit to the total price of the custom order.
What if the design is not exactly what I am looking for?
Per our experience, most of our customers are typically very satisfied after 4 renders with 3 minor revisions. However, if you require additional revision rounds then you can place another deposit of $350.00 USD. Although all deposits are non-refundable, your deposits are applicable as a credit towards your final custom order.
How long does it take to get my renders?
Renders are typically completed within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends).
